onX is seeking an experienced Access & Stewardship Program Director to lead and grow the company's Access and Stewardship (A&S) program. This role is central to onX's mission of helping people confidently explore the outdoors while advancing land stewardship and recreational access. The Program Director will define program priorities, drive annual planning, and oversee grants, stewardship initiatives, customer education, geospatial and product integration projects, partnerships, and policy-informed programs. This is both a strategic and hands-on operational role. Key responsibilities include: **Strategy & Program Ownership**: Set strategic direction for the A&S program, translating broad goals into sequenced initiatives. Own the annual A&S Plan, turning strategy into objectives and investment focus. Bring policy context and stewardship priorities into program strategy in partnership with onX's policy consultant and leadership. Drive adoption of A&S priorities across vertical businesses (Hunt, Offroad, Backcountry, Fish). Direct customer education and set budget and investment direction for the Adventure Forever Grant Program. Coach and develop A&S teammates while staying directly involved in day-to-day work. **Government Affairs & Partnerships**: Own and direct onX's government relations and policy consultant relationships, setting priorities and turning federal developments into clear decisions. Shape onX's policy positions with internal experts, keeping them specific, defensible, and nonpartisan. Identify and manage priority nonprofit and community partners. Lead and participate in Washington, D.C. engagements with congressional offices, agency stakeholders, and advocacy partners. **Geospatial & Product Integration**: Oversee access-related geospatial storytelling and product integration projects that connect onX's tools and expertise to real-world outcomes for public lands and outdoor communities. The role reports to the Director of Brand Programs. Success is measured by a focused and credible program, sound partner and investment choices, measurable progress, and executive-ready reporting on impact, trade-offs, and investment priorities. This person will guide how onX expands its political exposure deliberately, in nonpartisan and credibility-building ways, surfacing trade-offs and risks early for senior leadership decision-making.
