As a Product Designer II at Innovaccer, you will own the end-to-end design process for key product features, working alongside product managers, engineers, and senior designers to translate complex user problems into intuitive, user-focused designs. You will mentor junior designers and guide design principles across the organization, contributing to the design system by refining and expanding principles to ensure consistency across all products.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and iterating on product features in adherence to design principles and guidelines, collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth design handoffs and implementation, and identifying and documenting key elements such as information architecture, user personas, and journey maps. You will partner with product managers to gather user feedback and iteratively improve the product experience, using data-driven insights to refine and enhance the overall user experience. You will contribute to the maintenance and expansion of the design system, ensuring consistency across products, and mentor junior designers, providing guidance on both technical and soft skills.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of product design experience with a solid understanding of both UX and UI design principles. You should have strong collaboration and communication skills with an ability to prioritize user experience, proficiency in Figma or similar design tools, and experience working with and contributing to design systems. A strong eye for interaction design and visual detail, particularly at a system level, is essential.
Preferred qualifications include U.S. healthcare industry knowledge and expertise, experience designing B2B, B2C, and SaaS products, a bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field (postgraduate degree preferred), and experience using AI tools with a strong understanding of AI user experiences.
