Innovaccer is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of Galaxy, an AI-powered cloud platform designed for payer risk and quality performance management. This role sits at the intersection of healthcare innovation, regulatory compliance, and product strategy, focusing on three core domains: risk adjustment, quality management (Stars/HEDIS), and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) detection.
In this position, you will own the complete product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Galaxy, consolidating fragmented point solutions into a unified data foundation. You'll work with clinicians, quality and risk adjustment experts, data scientists, engineers, and analytics teams to design solutions that help payers capture risk accurately, close care and quality gaps faster, and maintain audit readiness. Key responsibilities include defining success metrics (RAF capture accuracy, gap closure rates, Stars performance, FWA detection precision), engaging directly with payer customers across multiple time zones, and monitoring regulatory changes (V28, RADV audits, HEDIS updates, CMS interoperability rules).
Your day-to-day involves partnering with subject matter experts to ensure clinical accuracy and CMS compliance, collaborating with engineering and design teams to deliver intuitive workflows for risk coders, quality analysts, and FWA investigators, and serving as an internal expert on payer operations and regulatory landscapes. You'll also work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and implementation teams to drive adoption and market growth.
The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of product management experience, ideally in healthcare technology, with demonstrated expertise in payer operations, risk adjustment, quality management, or FWA. Experience with AI technologies in clinical decision support, coding automation, or anomaly detection is highly valued. Strong understanding of CMS programs (RAF/HCC, HEDIS, RADV) and healthcare data standards (FHIR, X12) is essential. You must be comfortable with ambiguity, able to balance long-term vision with near-term execution, and skilled at asynchronous collaboration across geographies and time zones. Familiarity with EHR systems, provider workflows, chart retrieval/abstraction, and payer data ecosystems is a plus.
