Flexport is seeking a 3PL Customer Success Manager to serve as the operational bridge between e-commerce and retail clients and warehouse fulfillment teams. This is a client-facing, cross-functional role based at one of six warehouse locations (Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, New York, San Bernardino, or Phillipsburg).
You will be the day-to-day point of contact for assigned 3PL/4PL partners and clients, responsible for ensuring SLA compliance on receiving, shipping, inventory accuracy, and packing quality. You'll coach teams of 30–100 at partner facilities, hold external partners accountable without direct authority, and drive corrective action when needed.
Key responsibilities include: managing client onboarding and WMS/OMS integration; reviewing and approving 3PL invoices; sharing SNOP forecasts and confirming capacity plans; delivering client-facing performance reports on inventory turns and logistics efficiency; owning high-pressure escalations involving inventory loss or delayed shipments; and building long-term client trust through operational reliability. You'll also document processes, escalation paths, and performance standards as the function scales.
Required qualifications: 3+ years hands-on warehouse, fulfillment, or 3PL/4PL operations experience with floor-level workflow knowledge; 2+ years managing or coaching teams in fulfillment settings; account management or client-facing operations experience; proven ability to hold external partners accountable to SLAs; comprehensive WMS knowledge (root-cause analysis, staff training, system troubleshooting); strong reporting and data analysis skills (Excel or BI tools); polished client-facing communication and business review experience; and ability to build structure in fast-paced environments.
Nice-to-haves: merchant onboarding or system integration experience; QBR or account growth conversation experience; international logistics or supply chain background.
Note: Role requires availability outside standard business hours for client issues, regular travel to partner and client sites, and a valid passport.
