The company currently supports hundreds of customers across 30+ states and two countries, serving more than 125 million people. We are seeking a Wisconsin Business Development Lead to accelerate our expansion across the state by building high-leverage relationships with state leaders and converting those relationships into market outcomes. This is a growth role for someone who understands how Wisconsin government operates and can convert state priorities, funding structures, contracting pathways, and policy windows into revenue-driving opportunities. Your primary objective is to unlock statewide growth by building durable partnerships with Wisconsin leaders and charting the funding, contracting, and policy pathways that enable Peregrine's products to scale across the state. Key responsibilities include: - Driving exponential statewide growth by identifying and shaping opportunities to solve hard problems with large Wisconsin agencies and uncovering ways to fund deployment across local agencies - Serving as the face of Peregrine to state and local officials, influencers, third-party advisors, lobbyists, and other external stakeholders - Building trusted relationships with senior state and local officials and converting them into concrete opportunities and deployments - Mapping Wisconsin's strategic priorities (public safety, emergency management, data modernization, AI governance) to Peregrine's products to create actionable go-to-market pathways - Turning policy developments, funding opportunities, and procurement routes into revenue-driving initiatives - Working cross-functionally with Growth, Customer, Marketing, Communications, and Product teams to align resources and accelerate growth This role requires deep knowledge of Wisconsin government structures, procurement processes, and political landscape. Success depends on relationship-building, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex government sales cycles.
