ComplyAdvantage is seeking a Web Strategy & Optimization Manager to own and drive the commercial performance of the company's web estate as a strategic growth platform. This is not a website management role but rather an ownership position accountable for measurable business returns through strategy, customer experience, conversion optimization, content, search, technology, and continuous experimentation.
You will set the strategy for how the web estate earns attention, converts intent, educates customers, and contributes to pipeline and revenue. You will then build, test, and ship against that strategy on a permanent cycle.
Key responsibilities include:
**Web Strategy & Development:** Own the strategy and roadmap for the web estate tied directly to commercial outcomes. Define the platform's purpose by audience and stage from first exposure through evaluation, purchase, onboarding, and ongoing engagement. Make the investment case with clear cost, return, and opportunity cost analysis. Build the operating rhythm for intake, prioritization, delivery, measurement, and iteration.
**Conversion & Growth:** Own conversion performance end-to-end from traffic quality through qualified pipeline and revenue contribution. Run a continuous experimentation program with a live hypothesis backlog and honest read-outs. Optimize the full customer journey rather than isolated pages. Partner with demand generation on campaign landing experiences, personalization, and lead quality.
**Content & Search:** Own search strategy across SEO, answer engine optimization (AEO), and generative engine optimization (GEO). Build technical, structural, and content foundations supporting discoverability at scale. Work with brand, product marketing, and content teams to turn domain expertise into web content that ranks and converts. Track share of visibility against target categories.
**User Experience & Customer Experience:** Be the advocate for the user inside the business. Run continuous research and feedback loops including session analysis, user testing, surveys, and direct customer input. Raise the quality bar on usability, accessibility, and performance. Extend the experience beyond acquisition into onboarding, education, and existing-customer engagement.
**Technology & Execution:** Own the web technology stack and roadmap including content management, testing, personalization tooling, analytics, and integrations. Make build, buy, and partner decisions with clear views of speed, cost, and maintainability. Manage agency and contractor relationships. Work with IT, security, and data teams on privacy, consent, resilience, and compliance.
**Data & Measurement:** Define the measurement framework for the asset with metrics that matter and connect to pipeline and revenue. Build instrumentation and attribution in partnership with marketing operations and data teams. Turn analysis into decisions with hypotheses and read-outs for significant changes. Provide regular commercial performance reporting to the business.
You will work across the marketing organization and reach across the company, collaborating with marketing leadership, product marketing, demand generation, brand, product, sales, customer success, people, IT, and data teams.
Success in the first year includes: a clear, funded, and agreed strategy with commercial case; a trusted measurement framework with regular reporting; a live experimentation program with consistent cadence and documented learnings; demonstrable improvement in conversion and commercial contribution; and improved visibility in both traditional search and AI-generated answers for priority categories.
**Requirements:**
- Significant experience owning a commercial web estate in a B2B technology, SaaS, or FinTech environment
- Track record of measurable commercial improvement (conversion rate, pipeline contribution, revenue, or self-serve growth) with numbers to evidence it
- Depth across conversion rate optimization and experimentation, including test design, opportunity sizing, and honest result interpretation
- Strong command of search in its current form, including understanding how AI-driven answer engines are changing discovery and content/technical strategy implications
- Fluency with modern web technology and analytics sufficient to make good architecture and tooling decisions and hold technical partners accountable
- Experience leading through influence across marketing, product, sales, and engineering stakeholders
- Comfort operating as both strategist and executor
