Robinhood is seeking a Web Developer to join the Margin Team, a high-leverage product engineering group building sophisticated investing and trading experiences. The Margin product has scaled to over $15B in usage and is one of the fastest-growing revenue streams at the company. In this role, you'll help build and scale customer-facing web experiences for Robinhood Crypto, contributing to products that support international users from onboarding through trading and funding.
You'll own features from inception through design, implementation, and launch, serving as the web expert on your team. Working closely with product, design, and cross-functional engineering teams, you'll ship high-quality features, support market launches, and help create safe, seamless crypto experiences as the platform expands. You'll create performant products using React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS, build frameworks and abstractions to accelerate other developers, and collaborate rapidly to iterate on financial products.
The role requires 3+ years of professional experience with modern web standards and frameworks, strong JavaScript skills in Node and browser environments, and a track record of leading large-scope technical projects at scale. You should be obsessed with developer experience, advocate for best practices in testing and code quality, and set high standards for code review processes.
This is a hybrid role based in the Toronto office with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
