IPSY is a beauty discovery and membership platform uniting brands, creators, and consumers. The VP of Product Management will lead the Product Management and UX organization, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.
Key responsibilities include:
**Product Strategy & Vision**: Own and evolve multi-year product strategy across web, mobile, and internal platforms. Translate IPSY's business strategy into clear, prioritized product direction. Identify high-leverage opportunities, evaluate build/buy/partner trade-offs, and determine what not to pursue. Serve as connective tissue between C-suite and Product & UX organization. Champion IPSY's "surprise and delight" brand promise in strategic decisions.
**Portfolio Prioritization & Roadmap Ownership**: Own portfolio-level prioritization across the product organization, weighing business impact, ROI, and team capacity. Build and maintain a data-driven, transparent roadmap aligning Engineering, Design, Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations. Establish product portfolio reviews and decision frameworks providing executive leadership real-time visibility into trade-offs and progress. Tie every roadmap bet to clear business impact—revenue, retention, or margin.
**Customer Experience & Growth**: Act as authority on IPSY's product suite and current/future customers. Own end-to-end transaction funnel and customer journey across acquisition, activation, and retention. Use data, qualitative research, and experimentation (A/B testing) to validate assumptions, reduce risk, and continuously improve conversion and lifetime value. Track competitive, consumer, and technology trends, including AI-enabled product experiences. Guide user experience and design strategy ensuring products are intuitive, engaging, and solve real user problems.
**Cross-Functional & Executive Leadership**: Collaborate across C-suite to align strategy, secure resources, and drive execution. Build and mentor a high-performing Product & UX team. Establish clear OKRs and accountability. Communicate product vision and progress to stakeholders.
