Super.com is seeking a VP of Product & Design to lead the product strategy and development across the organization. In this high-impact role reporting to the CEO, you will build and execute the roadmap driving both short-term and long-term growth, working directly with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to bring bold ideas to life.
Key responsibilities include:
**Team Leadership & Development**
Lead and mentor the entire product wing, including product management, product design, user research, market research, and creative functions. Build an innovative, high-performing championship team and position teammates for growth and impact.
**Strategic Leadership**
Collaborate with the CEO and General Managers to define product vision and strategy aligned with company goals. Own outcomes for the entire product experience, identify and execute 10x impact opportunities, and balance revenue/growth goals with customer needs and experience quality.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
Align product goals and priorities with top-level leadership and cross-functional partners across the organization. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for successful product delivery.
**Execution & Analysis**
Drive data-informed decision-making by drawing insights from deep analysis and translating them into shipped solutions. Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept through launch, maintenance, and retirement. Balance velocity with quality, advocating for speed of learning alongside customer experience excellence.
**Market & Customer Understanding**
Maintain deep understanding of customer needs through direct interaction and market research. Drive generative research projects identifying new opportunities. Stay informed on technological advancements relevant to the product domain.
**Requirements:**
- 12+ years in product management
- 8+ years in people management, with experience leading teams of 20+
- 3+ years managing or leading design & research teams
- Proven track record of high-performing teams, product success in market, and business success
- Experience leading consumer products from zero to one and through growth stage
- Strong operating range (ability to be strategic and tactical as needed)
**Nice to Have:**
- Experience in travel, fintech, or adtech
- Experience leading UXR and research teams directly
- Primarily B2C product experience
- Membership management experience
- Reforge principles mastery
- Experience leading remote teams across multiple disciplines
- Experience collaborating with GMs on collective product strategy
- Leadership experience at Series C+ companies at scale
