Salary: USD 280,000 - 300,000 / annual
Flock Safety is seeking a VP Product to lead end-to-end product strategy across a complex, multi-layered portfolio spanning cloud software, firmware, and hardware systems. In this role, you will direct and develop a team of Product Managers responsible for core product areas from roadmap conceptualization through market execution. You'll partner closely with Engineering leadership to align product roadmaps with technical architecture and delivery capabilities, translating customer needs and competitive dynamics into prioritized roadmaps that balance innovation, reliability, and speed to market.
This is an active, hands-on executive role—not a corporate strategy position. You will engage directly with engineering teams on technical tradeoffs, dive deep into product architecture, and serve as an external product spokesperson explaining complex technical systems to customers, partners, and public stakeholders. The role requires proven experience leading complex, multi-layered technology products that span both software platforms and hardware-adjacent systems, with strong product judgment and the ability to prioritize across competing demands and incomplete information.
You should have demonstrated experience developing and managing product managers to drive cohesive execution across distinct product lines, capability to partner deeply with Engineering on platform architecture and technical sequencing, and clear executive communication skills.
