Unlearn.AI is transforming clinical development through AI-powered digital twins and data analytics. Founded in 2017 by machine learning scientists and backed by top-tier VCs (Altimeter, Insight Partners, Radical Ventures, DCVC), the company has raised $50M+ in Series C funding.
As VP of Product, you will lead the creation of entirely new AI-driven products from concept to market—true 0-to-1 work at the intersection of AI and healthcare. You'll own company-wide product strategy, translating Unlearn's vision into concrete roadmaps aligned with quarterly business goals. Your responsibilities include:
- Setting and driving long-term strategic vision and near-term execution roadmap
- Leading creation of novel AI capabilities from research and proof-of-concept to production-ready offerings that solve real clinical trial and drug development problems
- Recruiting, developing, and leading a high-performing Product team (Product Managers and future Product leaders), fostering a culture of rigorous experimentation and data-driven decision-making
- Partnering with Engineering, Data Science, Biostatistics, Clinical Science, Business Development, and Finance leadership
- Representing Product with the Executive Leadership Team and key customers
- Developing deep understanding of Biopharma, Clinical, and Data Science stakeholder needs to ensure roadmap drives measurable value and adoption
- Establishing operational KPIs, performance metrics, and resource allocation strategies to transition from ad-hoc projects to repeatable delivery models
You'll need 10+ years in product management with a track record of leading Product teams at VP or Senior Director level, managing multiple Product Managers. Direct experience building AI/data-platform products in Biotech, Pharma, or Life Sciences is essential—you understand clinical trial design, regulatory strategy, and drug development lifecycle. You've owned products from concept to market in new spaces, not just iterated on existing offerings. You can discuss clinical strategy and competitive dynamics with senior leaders without retreating to jargon, and you're comfortable operating across highly technical and scientific teams.
