Midi Health is building the leading virtual care clinic for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and other midlife health challenges. The company delivers expert, insurance-covered care nationwide and partners with leading health plans and employers to make comprehensive midlife care accessible at scale.
You will be Midi's first VP of Health Plan Sales, owning the entire payer growth engine nationally. This is a builder-and-closer role where you'll personally drive the company's most important payer opportunities while creating the strategy, team, and sales discipline required to scale from early traction to meaningful national scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing the Health Plan GTM strategy, including target market definition, segmentation, pricing, contracting approach, and scaling roadmap
- Winning new payer partnerships by building relationships and driving complex enterprise sales cycles with Blues plans and commercial payers from initial engagement through contracting and launch
- Growing strategic accounts by expanding existing partnerships across covered lives, geographies, clinical programs, and revenue
- Owning health plan sales targets and building the pipeline, forecasting discipline, and operating cadence for predictable growth
- Building and leading a high-performing payer sales organization as the business scales
- Shaping Midi's payer strategy through market and competitive insights, partnering with Payer Alliances, Commercial Operations, Clinical, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams
- Representing Midi externally to establish the company as a category leader in women's midlife care
You bring 12+ years of progressive experience in payer sales, business development, or partnerships, ideally in health tech, provider services, care delivery, or value-based care. You have deep experience selling into health plans, particularly Blue Cross Blue Shield regional plans, and understand complex payer decision-making. You have a proven track record closing multi-million-dollar payer partnerships and delivering against ambitious revenue targets. You're both a strategic operator and hands-on closer, comfortable setting GTM strategy while personally driving critical deals. You've scaled a payer GTM motion from early traction to meaningful scale, building processes, relationships, and teams. You have strong executive presence and can build multi-threaded relationships with C-level stakeholders. You thrive in high-growth environments and are passionate about improving healthcare for women.
