Preply is a unicorn edtech platform (Series D, $150M) that connects 100,000+ tutors teaching 90+ languages to learners across 180 countries. The company is building human-led, AI-enhanced learning experiences at global scale.
You'll join Preply's in-house Creative Studio as a Video Editor, working on brand campaigns, paid media, and product feature videos. This is a senior post-production role where you'll own the editing process end-to-end, with particular expertise in color grading and/or audio engineering. You'll collaborate with motion graphics designers, copywriters, and cinematographers to bring Preply's story to life across multiple channels.
Key responsibilities:
- Edit and deliver polished video content for paid media campaigns, product features, and organic channels
- Own color grading and/or audio mastering in the post-production pipeline
- Reformat campaign spots into channel-specific cuts while preserving core messaging
- Work with motion graphics renders and localize content for different language markets
- Ensure visual consistency, brand compliance, and technical quality across all outputs
- Collaborate with cross-functional creative teams to improve workflows and processes
- Develop compelling videos optimized for digital and social media advertising

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Cinema, Videography, Motion Design, Visual Communications, or related field
- 5+ years as a professional video editor in marketing or branding, preferably digital-first
- 2+ years working with motion graphics; ability to modify and reformat motion designs and work with templates
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Audition); Figma knowledge is a plus
- Strong understanding of rhythm, color grading, sound mixing, motion principles, storytelling, and layout
- Keen eye for detail and ability to translate complex concepts into visually compelling videos
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Passion for digital innovation, online advertising, and marketing trends
- Portfolio demonstrating diverse videography and motion projects
- Experience in education or technology sector is a plus
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and AI tools is a strong plus
