Snowflake is seeking a Vice President of Solution Engineering for the Majors segment to lead a multi-layer SE organization supporting the company's largest and most strategic enterprise accounts. In this role, you will own the technical win strategy across the Majors segment, building and scaling a world-class team of Solution Engineers, directors, managers, and principal-level individual contributors.
Key responsibilities include leading the technical strategy for Majors accounts, aligning SE resources to revenue goals in partnership with Sales leadership on the largest enterprise opportunities. You will set the vision for how Majors customers architect on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, spanning data warehousing, Snowpark, Cortex AI, native apps, and secure data sharing. You'll champion agentic and generative AI adoption with strategic accounts, guiding them from proof of concept to production at enterprise scale.
As executive technical sponsor for top Majors accounts, you will build trusted relationships with customer CTOs, chief data officers, and VP-level stakeholders. You'll partner with Product and Engineering to feed enterprise field insights into the roadmap, influencing capabilities that unlock the largest deals. You'll also build repeatable technical sales motions, enablement, and value-engineering frameworks that scale across the Majors SE team, and own segment-level metrics for technical win rate, POC conversion, and SE-influenced pipeline.
Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of experience in solution engineering, presales, or technical field leadership, including significant time leading enterprise or Majors segment teams. You should have a track record of building and scaling multi-layer SE organizations, deep experience selling and architecting cloud data platforms or analytics solutions into the largest enterprise accounts, and executive presence to build credibility with senior customer stakeholders. Fluency in modern data architecture and applied AI is essential, along with strong partnership skills with Sales leadership and the ability to align technical resources to revenue outcomes. A bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience is required.
Bonus qualifications include direct experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms in a strategic, large-enterprise context, hands-on familiarity with Cortex AI and Snowpark, experience establishing value-engineering practices at the segment level, and a network of executive relationships within Majors-caliber enterprise accounts.
