Octaura is a fintech company transforming how large, historically underdigitized markets operate, specifically in loans and CLOs where trillions of dollars still move through legacy channels like phones, emails, and PDFs. The company applies AI, real-time data, and modern software design to create scalable market infrastructure for asset classes overlooked by traditional fintech. As Vice President of Product Management, you will own the strategy and roadmap for Octaura's trading products, aligning client needs with evolving market dynamics and company business strategy. You will lead and coach a team of Product Managers while partnering closely with clients, executive leadership, go-to-market teams, design, and engineering. Key responsibilities include: owning and communicating the product vision, direction, and roadmap; engaging directly with clients and prospects to understand objectives and identify underlying needs; defining the future product operating model and how GenAI can enhance discovery, analysis, documentation, and decision-making; setting a forward-looking two to three-year product direction while making disciplined near-term trade-offs; leading and developing the Product team through significant change; partnering with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to translate strategy into clear outcomes and measures of success; using platform and performance data to validate outcomes and improve roadmap decisions; representing Product credibly in senior internal and external discussions; and maintaining sufficient fluency in product specification and delivery practices. You should bring proven leadership of product strategy and roadmaps for complex B2B technology products, with the ability to articulate your personal impact on prior outcomes. You need open-mindedness and comfort operating in an evolving environment where product model and structure are still being shaped. A practical understanding of GenAI and its impact on product management is essential, along with willingness to help define an AI-enabled product process (deep technical AI expertise not required). You should be a strategic, commercially minded leader who connects detailed solutioning to bigger-picture direction, can challenge thinking at all levels, and has outstanding client-facing discovery and communication skills. Experience leading and developing Product Managers with credibility across executive, commercial, and technical stakeholders is required, along with strong judgment in making difficult trade-offs using data and evidence.
