Mirantis is repositioning from a private cloud infrastructure leader into a full-stack AI Infrastructure company—a vendor-agnostic, open-standard platform for building and operating AI clouds for Neoclouds and enterprises. As VP of Marketing, you will own the strategic repositioning and market perception shift from "private cloud" to "AI infrastructure," reporting to the SVP & GM with a path to the executive table.
You will drive marketing across two distinct business motions: Enterprise (long-cycle, ABM, expansion of AI workloads within a 1,500-customer installed base) and CSP/Neocloud (fast-moving, technically sophisticated, reputation-driven). Your mandate is to build market gravity—getting Mirantis into analyst conversations, buyer shortlists, and ecosystem discussions alongside NVIDIA and leading AI infrastructure players through earned attention and strategic positioning.
Key responsibilities include: repositioning the company's market narrative from infrastructure to AI; crafting and owning the strategic positioning and messaging personally; running two distinct go-to-market motions with coherent branding; proving impact through documented artifacts (case studies, metrics, launches); leading and reshaping the existing marketing team; and building and activating industry ecosystem partnerships in close collaboration with the BD team.
You will work with Mirantis's unique market position: recently acquired as a wholly owned subsidiary of IREN, an inaugural NVIDIA AI Cloud Ready ISV (one of only three), and an active partner in promoting open standard consumption APIs alongside NVIDIA.
Ideal candidates have lived through major infrastructure transitions (cloud native rise, now AI infrastructure buildout), bring deep technical credibility across GPU orchestration, AI clouds, model serving, and inferencing, and have worked at or marketed to companies like CoreWeave, Nebius, Crusoe, Together.ai, or infrastructure leaders like AWS, Red Hat, Rancher, HPE, or Dell. You are entrepreneurial, default to speed and judgment over process, and can demonstrate specific launches, positioning shifts, and measurable outcomes from your track record. You combine technical depth (from product marketing, product management, or technical sales) with the ability to build brand awareness and demand. Most importantly, you have a proven track record of getting a company's name into the center of buying and industry conversation, measured in brand awareness, analyst/media presence, and pipeline impact—ideally at the scale of billions in enterprise value.
