ARS Pharmaceuticals, a fast-growing biopharma company, is seeking a Vice President of Market Access to lead comprehensive market access strategy for neffy®, the first FDA-approved needle-free epinephrine product, and pipeline candidates. This VP-level role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and serves as a critical member of the Commercial Leadership Team. Key responsibilities include developing and executing market access strategy across marketed and pipeline products, ensuring optimal patient access while balancing profitability and long-term business objectives. The VP will serve as the organization's senior expert on payer engagement, reimbursement trends, patient access, contracting, and pricing dynamics. The role encompasses leadership of pricing strategy and governance, including chairing the pricing committee and serving as executive sponsor of the Deals Desk process. The VP will provide executive oversight of all commercial and government contracting activities (GPOs, IDNs, wholesalers, distributors, strategic customers) and manage government pricing programs including Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, Federal Supply Schedule, Veterans Affairs, and state programs. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with federal and state pricing regulations and reporting requirements; managing and optimizing patient support strategies (copay programs, cash programs, telemedicine, access hubs); optimizing pharmacy and distribution networks; and partnering with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, and Finance to advance brand objectives and drive coordinated commercial execution. The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of commercial experience in life sciences with direct responsibility for market access strategy, pricing, and reimbursement, plus at least 5 years of people-leadership experience. Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, PharmD, MD) preferred. Extensive expertise and relationships with PBMs and national/regional payers required. Experience with Medicaid policy, contracting, and reimbursement frameworks essential. Experience in categories with generic competitors and/or acute medication products highly preferred. Domestic travel up to 15% required.
