Amplify Education is seeking a Vice President of Business Operations & Enterprise Transformation to serve as a strategic operating partner to the President & COO. Reporting directly to the COO, you will architect and lead Amplify's enterprise-wide transformation, reimagining how the organization operates, executes, and delivers value across all business units.
Key responsibilities include:
**Enterprise Strategy & Transformation:** Partner with the COO to operationalize cross-functional transformation vision. Re-engineer core processes by embedding advanced capabilities and automation into workflows. Consolidate function-level initiatives into a unified enterprise framework with rigorous evidence-based prioritization. Track capability build-outs, ensure technology integration, and maintain critical transformation milestones while the core business operates at full speed.
**Enterprise Architecture & Process Optimization:** Support the Global Process Ownership framework to define, modernize, and improve end-to-end value streams (Idea to Launch, Quote to Cash, Plan to Deliver, Source to Pay). Serve as the objective leader convening executive stakeholders across Sales, Product, Marketing, Technology, CX, and Supply Chain to diagnose bottlenecks and resolve handoff friction. Support the transition of business systems into an agile, CIO-driven operating model with accountability for ROI on automation and technology investments.
**High-Stakes Initiative Incubation & Execution:** Lead, design, and launch urgent, complex enterprise initiatives and organizational change efforts. Build initial operating models, achieve steady-state execution, hand off to permanent owners, and pivot to next priorities. Act as the COO's strategic partner managing critical dependencies and ensuring executive commitments are rigorously executed.
**Executive Strategy, Alignment & Business Intelligence:** Support establishment of multi-year and annual enterprise goals and cascade to functional units. Optimize senior leadership operations by designing high-leverage agenda topics and enforcing accountability. Build and maintain the Monthly Business Review framework and Executive Leadership Team Operating Book, synthesizing operational metrics into actionable business intelligence.

**Requirements:**
- 12+ years of relevant experience in Strategy, Business Operations, or Management Consulting with executive-level exposure
- Proven track record leading enterprise-wide transformation programs across multi-functional organizations
- Demonstrated expertise in process re-engineering, specifically applying modern technologies, AI, and automation to drive measurable efficiency and ROI gains
- Proven history of owning and driving complex, cross-functional initiatives from inception to completion
- Builder mindset; comfortable operating without a playbook and creating structure from ambiguity
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to synthesize complex information into clear narratives for senior leadership
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with regular in-person presence in New York City office and occasional travel
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
