Motive is a fleet operations and management platform serving nearly 100,000 customers across transportation, logistics, construction, energy, field service, manufacturing, and other industries. The platform combines safety, operations, and finance tools with AI to give customers complete visibility and control over drivers, vehicles, equipment, and fleet spend.
As a Value Consultant, you will be a key member of the Business Value Services team, supporting sales and customer success through data-driven analysis and compelling presentations. You'll analyze customer data and business problems using external data sources, then develop professional presentations that clearly communicate the ROI and value of Motive's platform. Your work directly influences customer buying decisions and retention.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating data-driven customer presentations and business cases that accelerate sales cycles and improve retention
- Conducting comprehensive company and industry analysis by integrating data from multiple sources
- Developing and delivering professional presentations to prospects and customers
- Using Google Suite, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) to derive and communicate insights
- Identifying impactful data points and crafting visually engaging slides for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Adapting analyses and presentations as customer needs and market dynamics evolve
You'll need 5+ years in strategy/financial consulting, data analytics, sales support, business intelligence, or similar value-focused roles. Strong presentation and storytelling skills are essential, along with expertise in Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI. Python experience is a plus. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and excellent communication skills.
