Spring Health is seeking a Clinical Research Scientist II to join the Health Economics and Outcomes Research team. You will design and conduct rigorous research studies, translate real-world clinical data into actionable insights, and coordinate clinical study activities from protocol initiation through close-out.
Key responsibilities include publishing novel, high-impact academic research; conducting comprehensive program evaluations for tools and trainings used by the network of psychologists and psychiatrists; developing and maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for clinical studies with guidance from research leadership; tracking and reporting study progress against key milestones while identifying and escalating risks; coordinating cross-functional study timelines and dependencies; and supporting protocol adherence and compliance activities including IRB submissions and financial tracking.
Success in this role means producing rigorous academic and applied research (peer-reviewed publications, white papers, analyses), supporting achievement of key study milestones through clear planning and stakeholder coordination, and developing clear internal and customer-facing assets that translate research findings into compelling clinical or business insights.
Required qualifications: Licensed mental health clinician with PhD or PsyD in psychology or related field; track record of peer-reviewed academic research including first-author publications; fluency in statistical programming (R or Python); experience supporting clinical research studies or programs including timeline and stakeholder coordination; strong organizational skills managing multiple workstreams; ability to self-direct scientific work while collaborating on program management.
