As a University Sales Account Executive, you will drive CodeSignal's higher education partnerships and revenue growth. You'll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting through discovery, solutioning, proposal, procurement, close, launch, and expansion—targeting universities and workforce-oriented institutions.
Key responsibilities include: building pipelines with higher education institutions; engaging diverse stakeholders across universities (continuing education, academic leadership, departments, innovation, online programs, career services, workforce development); positioning CodeSignal solutions for university use cases such as career readiness, curriculum-aligned practice, AI upskilling, and skills verification; coordinating pilots with clear success criteria and expansion pathways; partnering with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams to ensure smooth onboarding and measurable outcomes; maintaining accurate pipeline tracking and account plans; advising university leaders on AI-readiness strategies and scalable partnership models; and translating market insights into higher education go-to-market strategy and repeatable growth plays.
Required qualifications: 5–7+ years selling into higher education (EdTech/SaaS preferred); proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder groups and procurement cycles; strong consultative selling skills and executive presence; comfort translating outcomes into metrics (adoption, completion, readiness, placement signals, employer engagement); and strong organizational skills to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with LMS/LTI environments, institution-wide deployments, workforce development, career readiness, or employer partnership programs.
