Orbit Fab is building the foundational infrastructure for an in-space economy by pioneering satellite refueling technology. The company has successfully launched three tankers to space and operates offices in the US and UK. As a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex technology development and space segment projects while contributing to bid structuring and optimization for successful delivery.
You will lead and coordinate project teams, providing clear direction and communication across internal teams, external partners, and customers/funding organizations. Key responsibilities include defining and maintaining project objectives, deliverables, and scope while managing delivery against time, cost, and quality targets. You will manage project budgets and resources, tracking expenses and labor to maintain cost control.
You will track project progress and performance against schedules and KPIs, adapting workflows when delays occur to maintain deadlines. Risk management is critical—you will identify risks across projects and develop suitable mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate is technically proficient with experience managing flight hardware development campaigns and strong stakeholder and supplier management skills. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced startup environment focused on building an exciting space economy.
