Abnormal AI is seeking a Transformation Strategy Manager to lead the company's AI-driven business redesign across all functions. You will serve as the day-to-day operator within the AI Transformation team, reporting to the Director of AI Transformation within the Chief Transformation Officer's organization, with a dotted line to the People team. In this role, you will translate the company's AI transformation vision into concrete, shippable requirements for AI product managers and engineers, then drive cross-functional execution to deliver them. You will build and maintain the enterprise capability map—the system of record for who owns what, how processes work today, and where AI creates opportunity. You will run the transformation intake, prioritization, and operating cadence that keeps high-value initiatives sequenced, resourced, and moving across Sales, Customer Success, Support, Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal, and Engineering. Key responsibilities include defining solution paths for prioritized transformations (specifying what humans do, what AI does, what systems do, and the rationale); owning the measurement layer for transformation (ROI analysis, business value assessment, metric trees, instrumentation, and executive dashboards); driving role redesign, change management, and adoption with People centers of excellence and functional leaders; and leading company-wide AI initiatives end-to-end that drive step-change improvements crossing three or more functions. This role exists because AI is fundamentally changing how work gets done at Abnormal. You must be a daily power user of frontier AI tools, comfortable building lightweight prototypes (using Cowork, agents, scripts, or no-code stacks) to solve your own workflow problems, and able to discuss concrete projects where you have already redesigned processes using AI. REQUIREMENTS: Must Haves: - Five or more years in investment banking or top-tier management consulting, with a track record of moving fast on ambiguous, high-stakes problems - Demonstrated first-principles thinking: ability to take a vague brief, reframe it, and build a defensible case for action that holds up to scrutiny from sharp executives - Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including comfort building metric trees from scratch, pulling and structuring data, modeling scenarios, and presenting results independently without analyst support - Hands-on AI fluency: daily use of frontier AI tools for real work, having built or rebuilt at least one process around AI, and credible ability to assess where current AI is genuinely useful versus where it falls short - Cross-functional operator instincts: demonstrated success running multi-stakeholder initiatives without formal authority, with specific examples of how you achieved alignment, made tradeoffs, and shipped - Exceptional written and verbal communication: ability to write one-pagers, build decks, and present recommendations to leadership teams - Bias for action and high tolerance for ambiguity, comfortable starting on a whiteboard and shipping a change within three weeks Nice to Have: - Technical degree in CS, engineering, math, physics, or another quantitative field - Direct experience redesigning a workflow around AI at individual, team, or company level - Prior exposure to a fast-growing technology company, ideally in security, infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS - Experience with transformation, change management, or strategy office operating mechanics, including governance, prioritization frameworks, and executive reporting - MBA (not required and not weighted in evaluation)
