IEX is seeking a Trading Analytics Specialist to join its Analytics team with a focus on US electronic options trading. This hybrid role (3 days/week onsite in New York) combines data analysis, market structure expertise, and client engagement. You will analyze market structure trends at both the IEX venue level and across the broader market, developing deep expertise with IEX's technology systems, trading functionality, order types, and market data. A core responsibility is presenting complex analyses to external clients and internal stakeholders through polished presentations and reports. You'll drive business impact by providing analytical insights that inform product development and business development initiatives, while collaborating cross-functionally with Technology Operations, Product Management, Development, QA, Sales, Quantitative Research, Compliance, and Regulatory teams. Key responsibilities include: deeply analyzing electronic options trading patterns and execution quality; developing proficiency with IEX systems and market data; presenting research findings to clients with varying technical backgrounds; and contributing to product development and business development initiatives. You should have 3+ years of experience on an electronic options trading desk with deep understanding of options market structure, trading systems, and venue-level mechanics. Direct product or quant exposure is valued. Strong data analysis skills are essential—experience with scripting languages (kdb, SQL, Python) and data visualization is expected. You must be able to acquire Series 7, 57, and Series 63 certifications within 90 days of hire. Ideal candidates are fast learners, excellent communicators, detail-oriented problem-solvers who thrive in dynamic, high-pressure environments. You should be collaborative, team-oriented, and passionate about electronic trading and data-driven insights. Familiarity with execution quality measurement, micro-market structure, order book behavior, and existing customer relationships in US equity electronic trading are nice-to-haves.
