FalconX is a pioneering institutional crypto trading platform that bridges traditional finance and digital assets. The company provides comprehensive solutions for institutional clients navigating cryptocurrency markets, addressing fragmentation and limited product availability in the space.
As a Trade Operations Associate, you will be the operational backbone of FalconX's trading infrastructure. You will handle all incoming counterparty settlement requests within agreed timeframes, serving as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of counterparties while tracking KPIs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing trade, transfer, and inventory reconciliation across internal subsystems and external partners (banks, custodians)
- Monitoring daily inventory needs for settlement, lending, and borrowing activities, coordinating with Treasury Management
- Collaborating with Trading Desk, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure client expectations are met
- Performing detailed reconciliations between internal and external systems to identify and resolve data breaks
- Improving reconciliation processes and identifying gaps to ensure completeness
- Providing inputs to compliance and risk teams on pragmatic controls in the evolving regulatory landscape
- Liaising with Accounting to ensure timely and accurate trade and settlement data reporting
- Adhering to established trade operations processes designed for regulatory compliance
You will gain deep exposure to cryptocurrency trade operations and the institutional trading lifecycle, working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where multitasking and prioritization are essential. The role offers the opportunity to become an expert on digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum while managing critical day-to-day functions.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in a trading firm, hedge fund, or investment bank
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience with Derivatives, Spot, and/or Credit trading
- Superb self-management skills with strong organizational abilities and progress tracking
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Desire to develop deep expertise in digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum
