As a Senior SOC Analyst at The Collective (part of VanRoey ICT Group), you will be a key member of a cybersecurity specialist team supporting clients in detecting, analyzing, and resolving cyber threats. You will leverage your analytical expertise and incident response experience to strengthen organizations' cyber resilience and continuously improve their security posture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring security alerts and incidents within Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender
- Conducting thorough analysis and investigation of security incidents to determine root cause
- Supporting colleagues with escalations and taking ownership of complex incidents
- Actively contributing to the development of new procedures to enhance service quality
- Advising clients on findings, remediation actions, and cybersecurity best practices
- Driving continuous development and optimization of detection and response processes
- Staying current with emerging threats, attack techniques, and cybersecurity trends, and sharing knowledge with the team
- Working from the Zele office
The role operates in a 24/7 SOC environment, including participation in an on-call rotation system.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a SOC Analyst, Incident Responder, or similar cybersecurity role
- Thorough knowledge of the complete incident response lifecycle (detection, triage, containment, remediation)
- Strong knowledge of common attack techniques and the MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking
- Fluent communication with both clients and colleagues
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while taking independent responsibility
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 SOC environment with on-call participation
- Good knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and relevant regulations including NIS2 and ISO27001
- Experience with Microsoft stack (Microsoft Defender/Microsoft Sentinel) is a plus but not required
