As Texas Growth & Engagement Lead, you will drive statewide expansion by building high-leverage relationships with Texas government leaders and converting those relationships into measurable market outcomes. This is a growth role—not a traditional policy position—for someone who understands how Texas government operates and can identify funding structures, contracting pathways, and policy windows as business opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
• Identify and shape opportunities to solve critical problems with major Texas agencies (DPS, TDEM, TDCJ, DIR, major counties/cities) and develop funding mechanisms to deploy Peregrine across multiple local agencies statewide.
• Serve as Peregrine's primary interface to state and local officials, influencers, third-party advisors, lobbyists, and other external stakeholders required for success.
• Build trusted relationships with senior government leaders and convert them into concrete deployment opportunities and revenue.
• Map Texas's strategic priorities—public safety, emergency management, data modernization, AI governance—to Peregrine's product capabilities and create actionable go-to-market strategies.
• Transform policy developments, funding opportunities, and procurement routes into revenue-driving initiatives.
You will work closely with Peregrine's sales, product, and executive teams to unlock exponential growth across Texas. Success requires deep knowledge of state government operations, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex procurement and funding landscapes.
