In this Territory Sales Representative role, you will serve as SpotOn's local representative in your assigned geographical territory (Irvington, NY area), responsible for prospecting, building relationships, and closing new business with restaurant owners and small business operators. You will manage the complete sales cycle from initial outreach through contract signature, with a focus on selling the full product suite including point-of-sale solutions and payment processing services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Traveling to client sites within your territory to prospect and build relationships with local business owners
- Managing a growing portfolio of clients and maintaining relationships in collaboration with internal support teams
- Hitting monthly sales targets with a metrics-oriented approach
- Cold calling, prospecting, and building out your territory
- Working with the Sales Support team to achieve performance goals
- Learning technology basics and applying them to business situations
This is a full-time, W2 position based in Irvington, NY with territory travel required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience with emphasis on small business owners, merchants, and restaurants
- Proven track record delivering against sales goals with a metrics-oriented, need-to-win attitude
- Excellent cold calling, prospecting, and territory buildout experience
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM (preferred)
- Ability to learn technology basics and apply them to business situations
- Ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable
- Work authorization in the U.S. required (visa sponsorship not available)
