SumUp is seeking a Field Sales Manager to build and lead a team of field sales representatives in Stockholm, one of its fastest-growing Nordic markets. This role combines hands-on selling with team leadership, focusing on helping local businesses discover affordable payment solutions through face-to-face engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of field sales representatives with hands-on involvement in the field
- Participate directly in client meetings and support the sales process, staying visible with the team
- Own the team's sales targets, performance, and overall results
- Identify new business opportunities and shape local sales strategy based on market insights
- Build out the team by partnering with recruitment and sales coaching to onboard and ramp new hires
You will combine strategic thinking with active field presence, setting performance standards through example and maintaining close relationships with your team. The role requires balancing team development with direct sales involvement, ensuring the pipeline remains strong while building a thriving local business.

Requirements:
- Proven experience leading and developing a sales team with a hands-on, coaching-oriented style
- Strong background in field sales with solid understanding of active prospecting and new business generation
- Ability to lead by example, build trust, and maintain visible presence in the field with the team
- Comfort using sales data to guide decisions and improve team performance
- Fluency in both Swedish and English
- Genuine ease working independently and taking ownership of outcomes
