Picnic is reinventing the workplace lunch experience by partnering with top local restaurants to deliver high-quality, individually packed meals to companies without fees or tips. As Territory Restaurant Manager for Los Angeles, you will own all aspects of restaurant supply for the region. Your core responsibilities include: **Selection & Sourcing**: Identify and recruit the right restaurant partners—brick-and-mortar establishments, standalone restaurants, and cloud kitchen operators. Ensure each hub has diverse cuisine options across multiple price tiers, with selection depth as a key performance metric. **Restaurant Performance Management**: Lead the full partner lifecycle from signing through onboarding, launch, and ongoing operations. Own the capacity model, drive on-time food prep, and make pause/unpause decisions. Diagnose and resolve performance issues when partners slip on delivery timelines or operational standards. **Menu & Product Quality**: Curate menus, hero photography, item descriptions, tags, and ratings. Ensure items travel well as single packed lunches and eliminate recurring defects—missing photos, broken modifiers, misleading pricing, items the kitchen doesn't actually prepare. **Team Leadership**: Work across a distributed team based in Bogotá covering restaurant sales, onboarding, menu operations, and frontline support (POS, printers, tablets). Set standards, SLAs, and routing; improve systems and processes. You'll spend significant time in facilities and restaurants, tasting food and building relationships with operators. This is a hands-on role requiring real ownership and accountability from day one. **Requirements**: - 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years managing a team - Background in restaurants, food delivery, marketplaces, hospitality, or supply-side operations - Proven experience owning a supply base or partner portfolio (both acquisition and ongoing performance) - Working knowledge of restaurant operations: kitchen workflow, POS systems (Toast, Square, Clover), menu management, ticket flow - Comfort with data analysis: lateness reports, dashboards, Google Sheets - Spanish language skills a plus (team based in Bogotá) - Deep knowledge of your region's food scene and restaurant landscape - Self-starter mentality; ability to navigate ambiguity and incomplete playbooks - High standards and low tolerance for recurring defects - Willingness to be in the field regularly for facility visits, restaurant walk-ins, and tastings
