Verkor is a French industrial company pioneering low-carbon battery manufacturing in Europe. Backed by major industrial partners including Renault, Plastic Omnium, and Schneider Electric, the company is building a state-of-the-art gigafactory in Bourbourg, France, with an ambitious target of 16 GWh annual lithium-ion battery production by 2025. You will join the Quality team at the Bourbourg Gigafactory as a Quality Technician specializing in Technical Cleanliness. Reporting to the Technical Cleanliness Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving technical cleanliness standards across production and work environments. Key responsibilities include: - Preparation, collection, and laboratory analysis of samples (particle traps, battery contamination) - Environmental and air quality monitoring of work zones, with calculations against applicable standards and norms - Development and improvement of work instructions for cleanliness procedures - Active participation in Gemba Walks to identify and propose cleanliness standard improvements - Implementation of corrective actions with engineers in response to non-conformities - Coordination and preparation of internal audits, including detailed report writing with engineering teams - Daily supervision of production line activities to ensure contamination-free operations This is an opportunity to contribute to a transformative industrial project shaping the future of European electric mobility, working within an international team of experts from 48 countries. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum Bac+2 (equivalent to associate degree) in quality/technical cleanliness or related field - Minimum 1 year of industrial quality experience, ideally in automotive, aerospace, or chemical sectors - Technical English proficiency required - Knowledge of international technical standards (ISO and VDA) preferred - Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills - Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office - Good communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
