As Technical Writer, you will own documentation across Volta's platform, translating complex infrastructure and APIs into clear, usable content for customers and internal teams. You'll work closely with product and engineering to document the platform as it evolves, setting documentation standards that scale with the company's growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing and maintaining clear, accurate technical documentation for Volta's platform, APIs, and services
- Partnering with product and engineering teams to understand new features and document them accurately
- Developing and maintaining documentation standards, style guides, and templates
- Creating onboarding guides, API references, and troubleshooting content for customers
- Reviewing and editing technical content from engineering and product teams for clarity and consistency
- Identifying documentation gaps and prioritizing content updates as the platform evolves
- Gathering feedback from customers and internal teams to continuously improve documentation
You bring experience as a technical writer in software, infrastructure, or developer tools environments. You have strong writing skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly, are comfortable working closely with engineers, have experience with API documentation and developer-facing content, and are organized and self-directed in managing multiple documentation projects.
