ServiceTitan is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for its Financials pillar, based in Toronto but open to remote work. You'll be the expert point of contact for customers navigating critical financial workflows within ServiceTitan's software platform, which serves small business owners in the trades.
In this role, you'll provide multi-channel support (phone, chat, email, screen-sharing) to help customers manage invoicing, accounts receivable, job costing, and related accounting processes. You'll master ServiceTitan's financial modules and troubleshoot integrations with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and similar platforms. Beyond technical fixes, you'll guide customers on accounting best practices—chart of accounts setup, financial reporting, month-end closing—and prevent escalations through creative problem-solving and empathetic communication.
You'll need a solid foundation in core accounting principles (debits/credits, accrual vs. cash basis, general ledger, P&L, balance sheets) and ideally hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks or Sage. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, strong analytical skills, and comfort with remote desk work (6–8 hours daily) are expected. A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent technical support or accounting experience.
ServiceTitan emphasizes a feedback-oriented, rapidly changing culture where you'll thrive as a resourceful problem-solver with excellent people skills. The company highlights this role as a launchpad: specialists here have the highest internal transfer rate across the organization, making it ideal for career growth. You'll receive comprehensive onboarding, leadership training, flexible time off, and robust health/wellness benefits including medical, dental, vision, RSP match, and parental/adoption support.
