Salary: USD 110,000 - 160,000 / annual

The Talent team partners directly with company leadership on org design and hiring. As a Technical Sourcer, you will own top-of-funnel recruiting for high-priority technical searches, working closely with Recruiters and Engineering leaders.
Key responsibilities:
- Source and engage exceptional talent across Engineering and other technical roles
- Build creative sourcing strategies for competitive and hard-to-fill searches
- Develop understanding of technical profiles and what differentiates great engineers
- Research companies, teams, and talent markets to identify candidates
- Write personalized outreach to get candidates excited about Decagon
- Partner with Recruiters and hiring managers to understand teams and calibrate on talent
- Build relationships with candidates and create exceptional experience from first interaction
- Experiment with AI and new tools to improve sourcing effectiveness
- Take on increasing ownership across the recruiting process as you grow

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of professional experience, ideally in sourcing, agency recruiting, recruiting coordination, sales, or another high-velocity environment
- Highly motivated with desire to accelerate career
- Naturally curious and enjoy learning how companies, teams, and technologies work
- Strong communicator comfortable reaching out to and building relationships with people you don't know
- Resourceful and willing to try different approaches when obvious answer doesn't work
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Thrive in fast-moving environments with high expectations
PREFERRED:
- Experience sourcing or recruiting technical talent
- Experience at recruiting agency or executive search firm
- Track record of outperforming goals or taking on responsibility quickly
- Genuine interest in AI, startups, and technology
- Competitive streak and desire to become exceptional at craft
