Applied Intuition is a $15 billion Series A AI company (founded 2017) powering physical AI infrastructure for autonomous systems across automotive, defense, trucking, construction, mining, and agriculture. As Technical Revenue Accounting Manager, you will build and optimize revenue infrastructure to support complex, multi-year software platform deals. This is a strategic, hands-on role requiring expertise in revenue operations, ASC 606 compliance, and deal desk leadership. You will work across sales, finance, engineering, and customer success to ensure scalable processes, accurate reporting, and public company readiness. Key responsibilities: - Partner with sales, finance, legal, engineering, and product teams to review, structure, and approve complex bundled deals, ensuring alignment with strategy, pricing, and compliance. - Prepare technical accounting memos for complex revenue transactions to ensure ASC 606 compliance, including contract review, performance obligation identification and allocation, and documentation for bundled software and services. - Own the company's revenue recognition policies, researching new and complex transactions, documenting technical accounting positions, and updating guidance. - Process and review customer orders in Salesforce and NetSuite, ensuring accurate contract, billing, and revenue data flows and resolving discrepancies across the order-to-cash cycle. - Establish processes and cadence for determining standalone selling prices (SSP) for existing and new products. - Support monthly close, revenue forecasting, and audit readiness, including preparing revenue schedules, booking journal entries, and reconciling GL accounts. - Prepare revenue disclosures for annual and quarterly financial statements. - Support SOX controls, process documentation, and public company reporting standards. - Drive interdepartmental collaboration to address process gaps, improve customer experience, and drive revenue predictability. The company operates in-office with an expectation that full-time employees work from the Sunnyvale office 5 days per week, with flexibility for occasional remote work and schedule adjustments for family commitments. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree a plus. CPA preferred. - 6+ years of progressive experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or related roles, with focus on software businesses. - Deep understanding of ASC 606 and experience with complex, multi-year software platform contracts and revenue recognition. - Demonstrated experience preparing technical accounting memos for revenue recognition and other complex transactions. - Experience building and scaling processes in a high-growth environment. - Experience leading or working closely with a deal desk, including deal review, approval workflows, and cross-functional collaboration. - Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence. - Excellent analytical, process improvement, and project management skills. - Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in handling financial data. Nice to have: - Proficiency with CRM and revenue systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, billing platforms).
