Tripledot Studios, one of the world's largest independent mobile games companies with 2,500+ employees across 12 studios, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function for PuzzlePlay, a fast-growing startup within the group.
You will be the dedicated finance lead with significant ownership and visibility across the entire business. Working directly with PuzzlePlay leadership and product teams while partnering with Group Finance, Tax, and Legal, you'll have the autonomy and pace of a startup backed by the expertise and infrastructure of a major gaming group.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the Finance Function:
- Lead month-end close, reporting, reconciliations, and intercompany accounting
- Manage treasury, FX exposure, and payment provider relationships
- Oversee reward liabilities, settlement cycles, and cash flow
- Build and maintain finance controls around fraud, abuse, and user payouts
Support Growth:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting
- Build financial models around PuzzlePlay's unique economics and user dynamics
- Partner with Product on financial implications of new features and mechanics
- Support entry into new territories, including tax, payments, regulatory, and compliance requirements
- Work with Legal, KYC/Compliance, and external advisors as the business expands
Lead Strategic Projects:
- Support intercompany recharge arrangements
- Develop PuzzlePlay's finance systems, processes, and controls toward standalone infrastructure
- Own statutory reporting and audit as the business reaches scale
You'll have broad exposure across finance, product, payments, international expansion, and strategy, with the opportunity to make tangible impact as PuzzlePlay scales. You'll be building the finance function as the business grows and tailoring it to stakeholder needs.
Workplace: Hybrid with 20 days remote working per year (work from anywhere globally or use for WFH on mandatory office days).
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Ideally 1–2 years post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Commercially minded with strong technical accounting fundamentals
- Adaptable to autonomous work in fast-moving environments
- Confident building processes where they don't yet exist
- Comfortable working across finance, product, operations, and senior leadership
- Keen to develop experience in financial modelling, payments, multi-currency, and international operations
