Salary: USD 128,000 - 178,000 / annual

As Technical Revenue Accounting Lead, you'll report to the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting and serve as the subject matter expert for complex revenue recognition matters under ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP. You'll own the technical revenue accounting function, leading month-end and quarter-end close processes while ensuring accurate, timely revenue recognition and SOX-ready documentation. Key responsibilities include: evaluating complex customer contracts and non-standard deal structures; leading the revenue close process with increasing scope and accuracy; providing strategic accounting guidance to Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, RevOps, and FP&A to influence deal structures and go-to-market initiatives; designing and shipping AI-enabled tools and agents that automate quote-to-cash workflows; drafting technical accounting memos and maintaining audit-ready controls; and leading high-impact revenue initiatives that enable compliant growth. You'll work cross-functionally to translate technical accounting conclusions for non-technical stakeholders and influence how deals are structured and new revenue models come to market. The role offers the opportunity to build leverage through AI tooling while maintaining deep technical expertise in revenue accounting. Required: Bachelor's in Accounting or related field (CPA strongly preferred); 6+ years progressive revenue accounting experience (Big 4 plus industry preferred); deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and ASC 606; demonstrated experience owning revenue close activities; AI fluency with hands-on experience building and shipping tools or agents using Claude, Lovable, Cursor, Gemini, or similar; SQL/BI experience; excellent cross-functional communication skills; and an A-player mindset with bias for action.
