Heidi Health is building AI-powered clinical tools that reduce administrative burden on healthcare providers. The company has achieved significant scale—supporting 2.5 million patient sessions weekly across 190+ countries—with a core product (medical scribe) that clinicians actively adopt.
This Technical Program Manager role owns the integration platform that connects Heidi's products (Scribe, Comms, Evidence) to the external systems clinicians already use daily: EMRs (Epic, Cerner, Athena, MEDITECH, Veradigm, Best Practice), scheduling systems, document stores, clinical references, and secure messaging.
You will own three interconnected areas: (1) the integration framework and shared infrastructure that powers all connectors; (2) the Integration Marketplace, a unified customer-facing surface for discovering and configuring integrations; and (3) the roadmap deciding which connectors ship next and how deeply they integrate.
The role is split between platform building and customer-facing enablement. Platform work includes designing the framework, setting standards for reliability (error handling, write-back confirmations, latency), and migrating existing integrations to new infrastructure. Customer work involves direct engagement with accounts, regional teams, and commercial partners to scope requirements, troubleshoot real-world EMR behavior, and keep integrations healthy.
Key responsibilities include: translating complex EMR realities (HL7 ADT messages, FHIR resources, vendor-specific workflows) into product specs; deciding build-vs-configure trade-offs; consolidating regional demands into a coherent platform roadmap; and expanding integrations beyond EMRs into adjacent systems clinicians use. You'll work with a dedicated engineering squad, EHR partners, and three regional teams (US, UK, APAC) with competing priorities.
