Fluidstack is building civilization-scale AI compute infrastructure, acquiring power, designing and operating data centers, and manufacturing electrical equipment in-house. You'll join the Technical Program Management team within the Electrical Equipment product engineering group, responsible for driving the design and manufacturing of medium-voltage switchgear, low-voltage switchboards, busway, and prefabricated electrical skids and e-houses from concept through production. Key responsibilities include: - Own the integrated program plan for one or more electrical equipment product lines from requirements through design release, holding the engineering team to its gates. - Schedule and run concept, preliminary, and critical design reviews; capture decisions and actions; close them before the next gate. - Bring manufacturing engineering, quality, and supply chain into design early to ensure bills of materials, tolerances, and test procedures are ready at design release. - Track long-lead components, manage sub-supplier qualification and second sourcing against the design schedule, and escalate risks. - Maintain configuration control over specifications, drawings, and change requests to ensure the factory builds what engineering released. - Keep program status, risks, and spend visible to engineering leadership proactively. The team is focused on re-engineering industry catalog products into Fluidstack-owned designs with complete documentation, running parallel design reviews across multiple equipment families, qualifying components and sub-suppliers before design freeze, and handing released designs to manufacturing with all necessary documentation and test plans. Fluidstack operates with full autonomy, insane urgency, first-principles reasoning, and a focus on building something that matters. You'll work in a high-intensity environment pushing the frontier of AI infrastructure. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of technical program management on electrical or electromechanical hardware designed and manufactured in-house, ideally switchgear, switchboards, power distribution, or electrical enclosures. - Demonstrated experience taking at least one hardware product from concept through design release and first production lot, running design review gates. - Strong understanding of design for manufacturing, configuration management, and how bill of materials, drawing packages, and test procedures translate designs to factory production. - Ability to read electrical single-lines, equipment schedules, and mechanical drawings well enough to identify problems before engineers do. - Experience managing component suppliers and sub-supplier qualification to a design schedule. - Ability to write clear, concise executive-level status reports that engineers will not dispute. - Bonus: Electrical engineering degree or PE license; UL 891, UL 1558, or IEEE C37 product certification experience; new product introduction in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing.
