Mecka AI is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI. The company designs and operates global systems for data capture, data labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows used by leading AI labs and robotics companies to train and validate humanoid and embodied AI systems.
In this role, you will turn data requirements into capture programs that work across devices, operators, and locations. You will lead execution that enables Mecka to expand real-world data collection while meeting demanding standards for quality and delivery. The position bridges engineering decisions with the realities of field recording operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert dataset requirements into capture programs with clear quality standards, capacity plans, and delivery milestones
- Coordinate device availability, operator training, recording capacity, and data review across programs
- Plan and validate pilot captures before expanding operations
- Investigate data-quality issues with engineering and operations teams, and verify corrective actions
- Use measured capacity and data acceptance rates to forecast delivery, identify risks, and adjust plans
- Produce clear written communication including operating procedures, technical decisions, and realistic delivery forecasts
Requirements:
Must-have:
- Experience delivering technical programs that combine hardware, software, and field operations
- Ability to build practical schedules, map dependencies, and resolve technical blockers across teams
- Understanding of sensor data, calibration, synchronization, and common recording failures
- Skill in analyzing throughput, quality, capacity, and cost using spreadsheets, queries, or scripts
- Ability to inspect recordings and diagnostic logs, ask precise engineering questions, and verify fixes work
- Clear written communication skills
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with robotics datasets or recording programs involving multiple sensor types
- Experience improving operator workflows or automating data-quality checks
