AlphaLife Sciences is an AI-enabled clinical research platform founded by former Google and Verily China experts. The company develops AuroraPrime, a generative AI and LLM-powered SaaS platform trusted by global pharmaceutical and biotech companies to accelerate drug development and clinical trials.
As Technical Product Manager, you will drive the development and scaling of AI-powered clinical use cases leveraging generative AI and large language model technologies. You'll build practical application-layer AI solutions that optimize industry workflows, generate actionable insights, and drive innovation in life sciences.
Key responsibilities include staying current with LLM technology advancements and applying them to product development; driving product features from concept through delivery with requirements gathering, specification writing, and quality validation; contributing to product roadmap decisions and managing priorities within assigned areas; developing detailed product requirements based on agile practices and industry standards; collaborating with pharmaceutical clients in the US and Europe, clinical teams, industry experts, and AI/ML specialists to identify workflow challenges; independently conducting user interviews and market research to uncover customer needs; working closely with engineering, QA, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery; and coordinating release cycles and development sprints.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above (computer science or related field preferred); at least 5 years of technical product management or related experience; ability to collaborate across time zones with US and European customers and teams; excellent written and verbal communication in English and Chinese with fluency in spoken English; proven ability to independently conduct user interviews and research; strong motivation to solve complex business problems; and self-driven approach in fast-paced environments.
Preferred qualifications include pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research industry experience; familiarity with FDA and ICH regulatory standards; proficiency with Jira and Confluence; familiarity with generative AI workflows including prompt engineering and model evaluation; experience designing AI-powered products with LLMs; and proven track record in product strategy and execution.
