Rune Technologies builds mission-critical AI-enabled logistics command and control software (TyrOS) for military sustainment operations. As a Technical Operations Specialist, you will sit at the intersection of QA testing, customer training, deployment support, and field operations—supporting both headquarters-based work and forward-deployed environments. At headquarters, you will validate new software releases before customer deployment by exercising the product like an operator would: planning missions, managing sustainment data, updating statuses, and identifying workflow gaps or confusing behavior. You will test end-to-end scenarios across TyrOS and other Rune products, identify bugs and training issues, and communicate findings clearly to product and engineering teams. You will also prepare deployment packages (software, hardware, documentation, training materials) for field use. In the field, you will provide hands-on technical support for Rune software and hardware in forward-deployed environments, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and software updates. You will develop practical training materials and train military users in classrooms, virtual sessions, and field environments. You will capture user feedback during training, exercises, and deployments, translating it into clear product observations. You will also build and maintain deployment runbooks and troubleshooting knowledge bases to make field fixes repeatable. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands military operations, cares deeply about user experience, and wants to help bring modern technology to soldiers, Marines, airmen, and operators in the field. You will work directly with Mission Managers, engineers, product teams, and customers, gaining broad exposure across a fast-growing defense technology startup.
