Anthropic is seeking a Technical Deployment Lead to join the Claude Agentic Solutions team. In this founding team role, you will lead end-to-end delivery of custom AI agent solutions for enterprise customers in highly regulated industries, owning engagements from statement of work through production deployment.
You will own the technical delivery plan for each engagement, structuring SOWs with clear scope, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria. You'll lead technical discovery to map customer workflows, identify constraints, and shape solution architecture. Day-to-day, you'll drive engineering execution across Anthropic and customer teams, keeping progress unblocked and making real-time trade-offs to protect the critical path.
Product scoping is a core responsibility: you'll define MVPs, author requirements documentation, prioritize engineering backlogs, and manage scope against evolving requirements. You'll own the customer relationship throughout delivery, leading executive briefings and managing stakeholder communications across technical and procurement teams while representing Anthropic's technical credibility.
You'll define impact hypotheses, set baselines and KPIs, and measure pre- and post-deployment outcomes for executive sponsors. You'll codify reusable delivery assets—solution patterns, evaluation frameworks, and technical playbooks—extracting signals from field engagements to feed back to Product and Research teams.
Navigating enterprise and regulatory complexity is essential: security reviews, legal approvals, procurement processes, compliance requirements, and organizational dynamics. You'll manage scope and change, handle evolving requirements, set expectations, and escalate risks with clear context. You'll run delivery operations including sprint ceremonies and milestone reviews, with 25–50% travel to customer sites expected.
Ideal candidates have led AI/ML engagements or deployments as founders, data scientists, engineers, researchers, or in professional services/consulting. You've delivered AI, ML, or LLM-based agentic solutions to production and understand what breaks in real environments. Experience in specialized verticals (financial services, life sciences, pharma, retail, mining, agriculture) is valued. You can lead architecture discussions with engineering stakeholders, evaluate technical trade-offs, and pressure-test decisions without writing production code.
