Salary: USD 115,000 - 150,000 / annual
Freshworks is seeking a Technical Curriculum Developer to join the Revenue Enablement team. You will design and develop engaging technical learning experiences for Partners, Solution Engineers, Professional Services teams, and other customer-facing technical roles.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design and develop comprehensive technical learning experiences including eLearning courses, certifications, assessments, simulations, videos, job aids, and learning paths tailored for technical audiences.
- Create polished, professional-quality multimedia learning content using text, video, audio, animations, and interactive elements, leveraging tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise).
- Partner with Solution Engineering, Professional Services, Product, Product Marketing, and technical subject matter experts to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical, and scalable learning experiences.
- Assess learning needs and define appropriate course scope, learning objectives, content structure, and assessments based on learner and stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with technical SMEs to identify critical concepts and keep learning experiences focused, practical, and appropriately scoped.
- Build and maintain technical certifications and readiness programs that prepare learners to confidently understand, demonstrate, and implement Freshworks solutions.
- Measure learning effectiveness through assessments, learner feedback, and business outcomes, and continuously iterate on content based on insights.
This is a hybrid role with in-office expectations of 3 days per week (Tuesday–Thursday) from the San Mateo, CA headquarters.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–8 years of experience designing technical curriculum, digital learning experiences, or enablement programs in a SaaS or technology environment
- Demonstrated ability to create polished, professional-quality multimedia learning content, including eLearning, video, audio, and interactive experiences
- Strong learning design skills, including the ability to define course scope, develop learning objectives, structure content, and build assessments that effectively measure learner progress
- Experience creating learning for technical audiences such as Solution Engineering, Professional Services, Partner Enablement, Customer Education, Customer Success, or similar customer-facing technical teams
- Solid technical foundation in computer science, SaaS, enterprise software, or related technologies, with the ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise learning content
- Experience developing eLearning using Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise) or similar authoring tools
- Strong technical writing and communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical SMEs and help distinguish essential learning content from "nice-to-have" information
- Experience designing technical certifications or assessments is a plus
- Experience with AI-powered learning tools or content creation is a plus
