Salary: USD 84,000 - 121,000 / annual

SeatGeek is modernizing the ticketing industry for live events. The Technical Architect role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Implementations, and client-facing teams, serving as the subject matter expert on SeatGeek's integration landscape, APIs, and platform capabilities. You will support internal teams, clients, and third parties integrating with the SeatGeek platform. Your responsibilities span technical discovery for new and existing integrations, API and credential guidance, onboarding support, product change management, documentation ownership, rollout support for new platform capabilities, and ongoing support for Ringside and other technical access patterns. Key responsibilities include: - Maintain detailed understanding of client requirements, third-party integrations, and SeatGeek system configuration - Build and maintain strong working knowledge of SeatGeek APIs, platform capabilities, and technical workflows - Lead discovery for new third-party integrations and API requirements by gathering requirements, assessing fit, identifying gaps, and recommending solutions - Own third-party integration solutions and related technical processes - Work with external partners and client-facing teams on configuration questions and complex technical scenarios - Partner with Solutions Architecture, Product, and Engineering to assess new requests against existing client processes and platform constraints - Support delivery, rollout, validation, and documentation of new functionality - Manage technical access and provisioning workflows including Developer Portal access, Ringside sandbox access, credentials, and SDK provisioning - Support technical onboarding for Ringside and similar platform access patterns - Review scripts, workarounds, and bespoke scenarios; provide recommended solutions and best practices - Create, maintain, and improve documentation, blueprints, templates, and process guides - Provide product and integration knowledge to internal teams such as Support and Implementations - Identify opportunities for productization, clearer ownership, and better internal process design Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in technical solutions, implementation, architecture, or integration-focused role - 5+ years of client-facing experience with ability to lead meetings, gather requirements, explain technical concepts clearly, and represent the company well with external partners - Experience working with APIs, technical authentication and credentialing workflows, and third-party system integrations - Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation, process notes, or implementation guidance - Ability to assess requirements, identify risks and dependencies, and recommend sensible paths forward for standard and bespoke use cases - Experience working in remote, geographically dispersed, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities - Deep knowledge of ticketing technology and the broader platform or integration ecosystem supporting live event operations - Industry expertise in sports and entertainment-focused businesses - Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach with internal teams and external partners - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to translate complex technical issues into clear guidance for non-technical audiences - Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage competing priorities and structure ambiguous work - Proactive, self-motivated, and conscientious with rigorous approach to ownership and follow-through - Analytical and logical viewpoint with ability to define problems and draw sound conclusions - Curiosity about how systems work and motivated to understand technical decisions and integration patterns - Independence and comfort making decisions without day-to-day supervision - Collaborative, low-ego partner who can bridge client needs and internal teams
