Moody's is seeking an experienced Technical AI Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI initiatives within the AI Analytics team. This role sits at the intersection of technology, data science, and business strategy, responsible for managing complex enterprise-scale AI projects.
Key responsibilities include leading delivery of AI/ML initiatives aligned with business objectives, developing and managing comprehensive delivery plans, coordinating cross-functional dependencies across product, engineering, analytics, and data science teams. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, retrospectives), manage product backlogs, prioritize workstreams, and ensure alignment of scope, timelines, and quality across multiple teams.
Stakeholder management is critical—you'll provide visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies to senior leaders, influence decisions, and manage enterprise-level relationships across business and technology functions. You'll champion Agile delivery practices, support product lifecycle activities including pilots and launches, proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks, and drive quality standards throughout development.
The role offers significant exposure to strategic AI initiatives, cross-functional collaboration with talented data scientists and engineers, and opportunities to shape the future of AI-powered solutions at scale. You'll work on translating business needs into actionable delivery plans and contribute to the evolution of scalable, secure AI-enabled products.
Required: 5-10 years leading delivery of AI/ML/GenAI initiatives in complex enterprise environments. Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) with ability to coach teams. Proven experience managing backlogs, prioritizing workstreams, and aligning scope/timelines/quality across teams. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong understanding of project governance, delivery reporting, and Agile tools (Jira, Confluence). Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (business degrees considered with relevant technical experience).
Preferred: Familiarity with data science workflows, AWS, enterprise-scale AI deployments, global team collaboration, financial analysis. Professional certifications (PMP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Scrum Master, SAFe) preferred.
