Salary: USD 115,000 - 140,000 / annual

As Technical Accounting Manager, you will lead Crusoe's technical accounting function as the company scales through increasingly complex financings, partnerships, and international operations. You will serve as the subject matter expert on how transactions are accounted for under US GAAP and SEC regulations. Key responsibilities include: - Lead research and evaluation of complex transactions including debt/equity transactions, consolidation, lease accounting (ASC 842), revenue recognition (ASC 606), and other advanced topics - Prepare clear, comprehensive technical accounting memoranda documenting the company's conclusions and compliance with US GAAP - Prepare and review aspects of quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes in compliance with SEC reporting requirements - Author the Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) section to ensure clear, accurate narratives of financial results and trends - Formulate global accounting policies and assist with implementation across the organization - Monitor, analyze, and interpret new accounting pronouncements from the FASB and SEC to assess impact on financial reporting - Coordinate and engage with external auditors on technical accounting positions and consolidated financial statements - Support maintenance of a strong internal control environment and SOX compliance over technical accounting and financial reporting processes - Present complex accounting considerations to leadership and translate concepts for non-financial stakeholders This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the finance leadership team. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification (required) - Six or more years of total accounting and audit experience - Deep technical accounting expertise in US GAAP, SEC reporting regulations, and SOX internal control frameworks - Strong analytical, research, and writing skills with proven ability to communicate complex accounting concepts to non-financial stakeholders - Strong critical and analytical thinking skills with ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions - Ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment Bonus qualifications: - Experience at a large public accounting firm (National Office or technical accounting group) or with a large corporate filer - Direct experience drafting MD&A or other SEC narrative disclosures - Experience leading implementation of major new accounting standards (e.g., ASC 842, ASC 606) - Familiarity with accounting for project finance, joint ventures, or capital-intensive structures - Industry experience in energy, infrastructure, or data centers
