Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Technical Account Manager based in Ankara to lead professional services engagements and customer success initiatives. This hybrid role combines remote work with on-site customer visits and occasional overnight travel.
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of professional services engagements: architecting solutions, managing projects, and ensuring successful implementation of Veeam's data protection and monitoring solutions. Your technical expertise will guide customers through solution design, implementation, and optimization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical input to proposals and Statements of Work
- Supporting delivery and consulting services for data protection and business continuity solutions
- Providing overall project guidance including plans, schedules, communication, and resource management
- Assessing and designing solutions; troubleshooting post-installation issues
- Estimating implementation effort and creating technical documentation (white papers, solution guides, best practices)
- Delivering on-site knowledge transfer and training on Veeam solutions
- Analyzing installed environments and recommending optimal configurations
- Facilitating communication between clients and Veeam support
- Identifying upsell opportunities within customer environments
- Contributing to process and documentation improvements
You will work with enterprise customers across multiple simultaneous projects, managing complex technical environments and building long-term relationships.
Requirements:
- VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, or equivalent certification/experience
- Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent project management certification
- Bachelor's degree in technology (combination of education and experience considered)
- Hands-on experience with Veeam core products
- Proven consulting and project management experience
- Significant experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with enterprise storage systems (Nimble, Nexsan, Actifio, EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP/3PAR, Hitachi, Dell)
- Hands-on knowledge of networking protocols and equipment (Fibre Channel, Ethernet, cloud services)
- Experience with enterprise applications (Exchange, SQL, Oracle)
- Data management, data protection, and data analytics experience
- Extensive data center, business continuity, and operating systems knowledge
- Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and accounts
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies and protocols
- Business proficiency in Turkish and English
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
