Datadog is seeking a Technical Account Manager 2 (TAM 2) for its São Paulo office to serve as a trusted technical advisor to strategic enterprise customers. In this role, you'll manage relationships with 3 primary accounts, driving adoption of the Datadog observability platform and ensuring long-term customer success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a technical advisor to enterprise accounts, ensuring successful product adoption and effective platform usage
- Leading enablement and adoption sessions tailored to customer architecture and business needs
- Analyzing IT Operations environments and workflows to recommend configuration improvements and performance optimizations
- Delivering technical business reviews, health checks, and account maturity assessments
- Escalating product issues and advocating for customer needs with Product and Engineering teams
- Creating executive-level summaries that tie platform usage to business outcomes
- Contributing to team learning through feature presentations, case studies, and best-practice sharing
You bring 2+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role (TAM, Solutions Architect, SRE, DevOps Engineer, or similar) within cloud or observability. You have hands-on experience with at least two public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure or application monitoring. You're proficient with scripting/automation tools (Python, Bash, Terraform, Chef/Puppet) and have working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes). You excel at communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, can work independently on customer enablement and adoption strategies, and are comfortable with 25–30% travel. Prior Datadog or cloud monitoring experience is a strong plus.
