Kraken, part of Payward (a 15-year-old fintech infrastructure platform), is hiring experienced Tech Recruiters to support global hiring across the business. You will partner with senior stakeholders and hiring managers to design and execute strategic hiring plans that attract top talent in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers and teams to design and execute effective hiring strategies, supporting decision-making with data and market insights
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies against prioritized requisitions, leveraging market intelligence and industry developments
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process as a problem solver and force multiplier, removing blockers and delivering high-value hires
- Navigate complex environments and drive uncomfortable conversations in the interest of Kraken
- Leverage AI as a default tool to accelerate sourcing, screening, market mapping, and reporting
- Champion Kraken culture, ensuring candidate alignment with mission and values
- Contribute to cross-functional projects that elevate global recruiting infrastructure
The role operates in a fully remote, high-agency, async-native culture where speed, precision, and focus are baseline expectations. You'll work with some of the brightest minds in the crypto industry to help shape an innovative business.
Requirements:
- Recruitment experience from a reputable, fast-growing, high-bar technology or product business in a competitive market (crypto, fintech, or product-driven orgs preferred)
- First-principles thinking; ability to diagnose root causes from symptoms rather than follow playbooks
- Fluent use of AI in daily work (sourcing, screening, market mapping, reporting) with demonstrated impact on output
- High motor and relentless energy; consistent effort and bias toward action
- Scrappy mindset; ability to see opportunities in problems
- Strong product sense and sound appreciation for talent acquisition fundamentals
- High agency, confidence to push boundaries, influence stakeholders, and close talent without compromise
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, owning outcomes, and moving with urgency in async, remote-native settings
- Interest in financial technologies and cryptocurrency
